When we accept Christ as our personal Savior, something extraordinary happens. It is personal—because our own sins, not just humanity’s in general, are completely forgiven. God casts them into the sea of forgetfulness, never to remember them against us again. As it is written in Micah 7:19 (NKJV), “You will cast all our sins into the depths of the sea.” From that moment, we become new creations in Christ, made righteous by His sacrifice and empowered to grow into maturity. “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new” (2 Corinthians 5:17, NKJV).
We are no longer bound by our past—we are positioned for purpose. As new creations, we step into our rightful place as sons and daughters of God, called to take dominion, walk in victory, and fulfill the will of our Heavenly Father on earth. Philippians 4:13 (NIV) boldly declares, “I can do all this through Him who gives me strength.” This means we are not begging God for scraps; we are walking in the God-kind-of-faith—faith that pleases Him (Hebrews 11:6, NKJV). We operate as co-laborers with Christ, aligned with His mission and filled with His Spirit.
The Bible assures us that wisdom is readily available to those who ask. James 1:5 (NLT) says, “If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and He will give it to you.” Many of us live without experiencing the fullness of our inheritance in Christ simply because we don’t ask or seek. James 4:2 (ESV) reminds us, “You do not have because you do not ask.” The benefits of salvation are not forced upon us—we must tap into them through faith, prayer, and the Word of God. Hosea 4:6 (NKJV) warns, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.” So we must become seekers of truth, hungry for revelation, and willing to renew our minds daily.
In Christ, we have been given the mind of Christ (1 Corinthians 2:16, NKJV), the faith of God (Mark 11:22, YLT literal translation: “Have faith of God”), the wisdom of the Holy Spirit (John 14:26, NIV: “the Holy Spirit…will teach you all things”), and the dominion first given to humanity in Genesis 1:28 (NKJV), “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion…” This is not figurative language—this is spiritual reality. We are fully equipped to fulfill our divine assignments, break generational curses, speak life into dark places, and carry the glory of God wherever we go.
Declaration:
I am a new creation in Christ. My sins are forgiven, and I am free. I have the mind of Christ, the faith of God, the wisdom of the Holy Spirit, and the dominion to walk in victory. I will not perish for lack of knowledge—I seek truth, ask boldly, and walk in everything God has promised me.
Prayer:
Father God, thank You for making me new through Christ. Help me not to forget the benefits of salvation. I ask for Your wisdom, Your strength, and Your guidance through the Holy Spirit. Remind me daily that I have the mind of Christ and the power to overcome. Help me walk boldly in faith, fulfill Your will on earth, and live in a way that pleases You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
