Key Verse:
2 Corinthians 5:17 (NLT), "This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!"

When we accept Jesus as Lord and Savior, something incredible happens—we’re not just forgiven; we’re transformed. We become a new creation. Our past does not define us anymore. Our identity, our thinking, our authority, and our destiny are now rooted in Christ.

God doesn’t just clean us up. He makes us new—new thoughts, new power, new identity. And as new creations, we are called to live not according to our

feelings or failures, but according to the mind, faith, wisdom, and authority we now have in Him.

We Have the Mind of Christ. 1 Corinthians 2:16 (NKJV)
"For ‘who has known the mind of the Lord that he may instruct Him?’ But we have the mind of Christ." As new creations, we are no longer bound by confusion, fear, or worldly thinking. We have access to divine insight and heavenly perspective. This means we can discern truth, hear God’s voice, and walk in clarity and purpose.

We Have the Faith of God. We don’t need to have more faith because we have been given a measure of faith, so we can tap into God's Faith having the “God kind of faith.”

Mark 11:22 (KJV), "And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God."
(Note: Greek scholars often interpret this as “Have the God kind of faith.”)

Our faith isn’t limited to human strength—it is anchored in God’s own reliability. Jesus encouraged us to operate in faith that speaks to mountains (v.23), believes without doubting, and trusts God’s Word completely. As new creations, we tap into the faith of God, which is bold, unwavering, and effective.

We Walk in the Wisdom of the Holy Spirit. James 1:5 (ESV) "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him." John 14:26 (NIV) "But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things..." God did not leave us to figure life out on our own. The Holy Spirit within us teaches, leads, and gives divine wisdom to make godly choices. As we grow, we become less reactive and more discerning—more like Jesus.

We have been given the Power and Authority of Jesus. Luke 10:19 (NIV)
"I have given you authority… to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you." Matthew 28:18-19 (NLT) "I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. Therefore, go and make disciples…"

Jesus not only saved us—He commissioned us. We are empowered to bring light to dark places, heal the broken, cast out fear, and declare freedom in His name. His power is imputed to us, and we are to walk boldly in it.

Declaration:

I am a new creation in Christ.
I have the mind of Christ, the faith of God, the wisdom of the Spirit, and the authority of Jesus.
I will not be defined by my past but by my position in Christ.
I walk in power, love, and a sound mind.
The old has passed. The new is here. I will live like it!

Prayer:

Heavenly Father,
Thank You for making me new through Jesus. Teach me to think with the mind of Christ, trust with the faith of God, walk with the wisdom of the Holy Spirit, and operate in the authority Jesus gave me. Help me reject lies, fear, and limitation, and instead step boldly into the life You’ve called me to.

In Jesus' name, Amen.
